July-September
2010
July was a very busy month. Native Vote Alliance of Minnesota proudly presents a synopsis of its 1st Annual Youth Civic Camp held at the Ojibwe Language Camp of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, Rutledge, Minnesota. In conjunction with a grant from the Honor the Earth Foundation, a field trip to the White Earth Farm to School and Renewable Energy Programs was a great learning opportunity! The history curriculum focused on a recent publication by Anton Treuer - “Ojibwe of Minnesota.” Some of the pictures highlighting the events are available in the 2010 Photo Gallery.
